Sad isn’t it? I’ll always love him and will never call him a @#%&! etc

It looks like it’s not gonna work out for him here and I’m gutted for him. The shit getting talked about him is embarrassing.

I’ve seen it stated in parts of the interweb that he wasn’t even a club legend. From people old enough to know better as well.

I welled up like a RAWK poster that night at the Valley .

Sums up how I feel - sadness really. Desperately hope he can turn it round.

Yep: sad, disappointed, frustrated…. But I could never hate the guy. He loves the club and he’s trying to do the job in dignified and positive way.

Mocking him in videos saying “United DNA” - like understanding the traditions of the club and trying to uphold them is something to laugh at - is a bit rich considering we loved him for that “he gets us” stuff when he first came.

As shit as this moment is, as disorganised and chaotic as we are, there’s a still a lot to like about this team.

He’s not the man to take us forward from this point, I think that’s pretty clear now, but that doesn’t change what he’s trying to do and he doesn’t deserve shit for that.

This.

I’ve backed him all the way, but it really does feel like he’s not going to be able to get the best out of this squad, so I would be happy to see him replaced if they can find someone really top quality to come in.

But the abuse being hurled his way is disgraceful, and just symptomatic of the modern day football fan unfortunately.

This man gave us the greatest moment I will ever see on a football field. It would take a lot more than a poor start to the season to have me slagging him off left right and centre the way some people are.

The glee that some of our own fans (adopts Neil Kinnock voice - OUR OWN FANS!) are showing in his current struggles and possible demise is indeed more than a tad unseemly.

I will always love Ole and always will.

He needs to be moved upstairs with dignity.

Why should he be moved upstairs?

It isn’t Ole’s fault he’s still in the job.

Yeah, it's breaking my heart. He's done well, there's no doubt about that. But he's long since reached his limitations.

Too much money involved now for them to do so.
