Southampton are without a win in their previous 12 Premier League games against us since a 0-1 win at Old Trafford in January 2016, drawing 7 and losing 5.

After losing 4 of our last 6 league games at The Dell, we have lost just once in 14 league games at St Mary’s, winning 8 and drawing 5. We’re also unbeaten at the ground since a 1-0 loss in August 2003.

Southampton have conceded more goals against us than any other Premier League team (98 in total). If we score two against them today Southampton will be the 5th different team we have scored 100+ goals against in the Premier League.

Southampton have lost 5 of their last 7 League games at home. During this run they have only conceded less than two goals once in a 1-0 victory against Arsenal.

We have lost each of our last 7 away games, our longest away losing run since December 1936 (a run of 10 games). We’ve conceded 4 goals in 4 of the defeats, as many as we’d shipped 4+ in our previous 143 away league games.

Big game this. Can’t just be turning up for Liverpool and then falling back into old habits. We’ll know a lot about how this will go in the first ten minutes.

60-0 Southampton.

Comfortable win, but I will take an uncomfortable one.

Martínez to set the standards. Sancho and Ronaldo to score. Maguire and Fatty to murmur to each other on the bench.

Like it Peter, like it

Is this your personal prediction or do you have inside info?

Can I also pry into your personal life?

Who do you vote for?

Favourite band?

What colour shoes go with a blue suit?
