Err, no they £#%&!ing don't. They're constantly £#%&!ing whining, protest if the team has a dodgy couple of games and bawl out any player who doesn't think Newcastle is the centre of the world.

Not to mention their attendances drop like a £#%&!ing stone when they're shit. There's nothing "special" about them like we're constantly being told. They're a bunch of pig-shit thick, entitled cry babies.

"The Geordies work hard all week and just want to be entertained on the weekend" is another one. As though people in other towns and cities don't work as hard as the Geordies. Actually, because they built shite boats, they now don't work as hard as other people because there's no £#%&!ing jobs there except shit call centre work that hasn't yet been outsourced to India.

And they talk like mongs.

Like Liverpool fans aren't they, constantly being fawned over in the media. This "oh they really love their football up in the north east" shite when you see Sunderland's ground half empty every week and newcastle's half empty in the championship.

Different team with Poggers; not happy being that reliant on one player though.

At home, against shit teams, hasn’t been our problem this season. Hopefully we can build on that second half and get some confidence growing again. Newcastle opened us up too many times for comfort tbh.

Yes. Too open. I think a lot of that had to do with the Smalling and Lindelof combo. Hopefully we won't see much of it again.

We had a bit of a swagger back though. Pogba doesn't just bring his own qualities, he's combines well with others and he's infectious.

alternatively, it had more to do with not having specialist fullbacks or only one midfielder. I guess it just depends whether you want to blame a couple of shit@#%&!s or the manager.

Well, we've had the same full backs all season and conceded 5 goals. The variable is the centre halves. Specifically, Lindelof. He spreads nerves and uncertainty.

I think we were genuinely blindsided by how many players Newcastle broke with. They were quite ambitious in the first half.

I never knew how to pronounce risible until I heard Coogan drop it on Newsnight. Trust him, don’t I.

Still not 100% on Grosvenor.

Back to 4's. Great result from a goal behind.

The fact we should knock over all of the crap this season at home should make us a shoe in for top 3. Liverpool Chelsea next weekend is a bonus too.

They’ve done well considering neither are proper full backs but we’d be a sight better with two real ones. The amount of times impetus is lost whilst Tone adjusts or dithers on the right.... a solid centre pairing would help too. The creativity that should develop between Rashers, Ibra, Lukaku and Martial in the coming weeks could be pretty good. There wasn’t a lot of cohesion between them but it should improve. With Poggers and Matic behind them we should be a force if they stay fit.

Spot on and agree with everything you said

Valencia has been a good servant to the club and is still good enough to be a squad option, but imo he doesn't offer enough to be a regular starter if we want to eventually win the league or cl

Just before Poggers put the ball in for the first goal today Valencia was dithering with the ball and didn't know what to do with it..... up stepped Poggers to show him how it was done

Yep. A bit reminiscent of (dare I say) Rooney taking the initiative vs Palace in the cup final to set up that goal with his burst in the same area Poggers did. It was individual effort more than team cohesion/combinations that got us back in the game. Plenty of room for improvement and I’m sure it’ll come.
