Default Scouse derby + Bitters v B'pool.

Seeing as Evertons biggest game of the season is out of the way, I expect a 3-1 win for Liverpool today and lots of post-match talk about how John Henry has already got the Verm turning the corner.

Predictions?

(I've got Arteta to score first and Gerrard to score first and the game to end 1-1 )

As already mentioned, Everton have had their 'Rooney Cup Final' so they'll be resting players ahead of next seasons showpiece event (assuming Rooney hasn't moved to Madrid or City obviously)
Everton always bottle this game - they normally get reduced to 9 players as well tbf...& obviously Liverpool will have at least one Pen.

That'll never come in mate.

Will be surprised if Everton get anything out of this tbh.

Carragher is turd, one pass to the everton midfield and then one blatant foul on Yakubu in the opening 3 minutes

They normally start off by scoring a fluke or when they've been under a huge amount of pressure.

Or a penalty.

The paranoia on this thread is a joke At Goodison, Everton usually put in a good show against the murderers. They've won a few in recent years and been cheated out of a couple more.

Saying that, I expect the wall pushers to win. The takeover and apparent bright future will give their squad a boost, not to mention Eveton being quite shit atm.

good start from everton, the dippers can't cope with their pressing.

when was the last time we saw a united side doing this kind of intense pressing in the opponents half?
