Even in to my early 20's I knew who the big players in Europe were.

Now, I doubt i'd know any foreign players under the £100M level.

I'm not sure quality has dropped, just market prices and modern media inflate players to sell them and the competitions they're involved in. Top 20 (at least) players in the world right now (not that I could name them all correctly) are still world class, its just that we get told people like Felix are superstars when he's still a teenager figuring out his game. Not his fault. They belong to clubs that know they can't hold on to them so everyone creates this shit out of all proportion to get paid. And when its smaller clubs not at the top table, you can hardly blame them. £#%&!ing expensive keeping a club afloat.
