Question Copa America

Don't know if this has been mentioned but why are Qatar in it?

And Japan

But yeah, Qatar we can guess why. It’s a £#%&!ing joke. They’ll be at the Euros next. Help spread the global game.

They have invitation teams every time.

Why Qatar in particular? Just a whim I'm sure.

In fairness Qatar are the Asian champions. No idea how that happened. Never even been in semis before

Need a Paraguay victory against confirmed group winners, Colombia in the next game to send Messi home.

Well we won it the previous time. So it can't be that hard.

I dimly recall Qatar's youth team beating England's back in the 1980s - pretty sure they were "importing" players even then.

Classic Suárez last night. Not only did he run screaming to the referee begging for a yellow card for the Chile goalkeeper for handling in the area, he also appealed for a yellow card for Jara for tackling a pitch invader dressed as a chicken.

Surprised he didn't try to bite the chicken.

I honestly can't tell if the commentator is South American or just Jamie carragher going full scouse mode.

Sanchez with the winning penalty to put his shithouse, traitorous nation into the semis.

Argentina now a memorable win against Brazil in Brazil away from another crushing defeat in the final.

Argentine football is flat broke, the manager has two years of experience as an assistant and got the job because he was cheap. Tell your pal the rest of Mercosur aren’t happy with the standard of Venezuelan government officials.

I watched the highlights and tbh I think Argies should've had a penno for hand ball. Will have a word with the lad..

Peru beat Uruguay on penalties.

Suárez missed his.

You'd have to have a heart of stone not to laugh.
