Default Cheating in sport

What amounts to 'cheating'? If it's conduct punishable by the rules is it still cheating?

Are 'professional fouls' cheating? loved this one.

I love Van Der Gouw in that clip. Never ceases to make me smile.

Cheating is doing it in an underhand way and trying to get away with it.

Cheating is anything that is trying to get an unfair advantage. Any time the ref stops the game to penalise a player or a team, it's as a result of cheating, even if it's accidental.

Lance Armstrong was cheating for years before getting caught, but if he started doping himself up on his bike in the middle of the Tour De France, he'd still be cheating, he would just be shit at it.

Think the worst example in terms of how morally wrong it is, would be Giggsy smashing his brothers wife in on the regular. However Wayne Bridge's ex taking a trip to Terryland can't be far off; imagine how awful John Terry's sex face must look.
