No, but would I stop going if we were bought by them, probably not.

If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s ignoring my principles if and when it suits me but then incredibly it seems, still claiming to be principled.

I don't think we will have much choice if we want new owners. There aren't a lot of individuals willing to spend that kind of money. MUFC would be the ultimate sportswashing machine for one of these countries though, and I'm unsure how comfortable I'd feel with that.

How many lots of potential Saudi owners are there?

No.

Would it put me off the club more than the Glazer ownership has? Probably not. Only one way to find out though...

As much as we'd all prefer some sort of fan-owned utopia, or a red British billionaire knight to come along and buy us, the fact of the matter is that we're competing against state owned clubs already. And until there's a transfer cap, if we want to regularly compete for the world's best players and biggest prizes in Europe, we need access to a near bottomless pit of money. The state of the modern game. Damned if we do, damned if we don't

Question

Answer: not really but there are worse options.

If you’re got start getting “principled” about the game

Agents
Bent refs
Bent fifa
Bent uefa
Shit/bent fa
Media
New age fans
@#%&!ish players (Pogba not Dennis Wise types)
Etc
Etc

The best part of United are the proper fans. That won’t change.

I wouldn't start from here.

it's not enough to want united not to be owned by scum*.

* saudis, to be clear. the local community would be ok.

It would be awful.

Then again Ratcliffe is from Failsworth, so it's swings and roundabouts tbh.

This was our club, even when the butchers had it they were only there to run the money. Clubs become a franchise, the McDs of football, and look where they at on the playing side, we're shit who get trounced by teams like Villa.

Be going to Salford if I was at home now.
