Charlotte has £#%&! all nightlife unless you count Ikea. It's a banking city. Everything shuts at about 7.

Chapel Hill will also be quiet as the match would likely take place in the summer when the University is empty. So you'd be stuck with the homeless and instructors desperate enough to teach a summer class.

Much better off going to Asheville if you want a nice destination for a few days before or after the match. The weather is perfect there in the summer and the mountains are superb.

The beaches are also quit good. Outer Banks are a bit far, but lovely. Myrtle Beach in South Carolina isn't that far and has loads going on.

My lad,who's 21 reckons it's a dead as a door nail.
Probably perfect for me then...

He did say if you like country and there is a big gig it's a great place to be. How sad is that.
