They should have given them a little 2nd place trophy just for a laugh.

Or a rosette.

Them losing that final would make it a genuinely happy summer. Wallow in rawnk for a day afterwards, then properly bin football off for a couple of months.

Yep

Not happening though sadly.

If you’re a manager that has an incredible record of losing finals which team would you like to face to give you the best chance of ending the run?

£#%&!ing Spurs.

To be fair, it does depend on which Spurs turn up. They've managed to beat City and pull off a result against Ajax when they looked dead and buried. Pulled off a draw at the Nou Camp and hammered Dortmund at home and beat them away.

There's a good chance they're going to get slaughtered, but if the good version of Spurs turn up then they can definitely get the better of the dippers.

I prefer Spurs to Ajax at the very least.

I mean surely there has to be a point that the red flags go up and I mean before you’ve paid...

There’s not a good chance spurs are going to get slaughtered at all. Who was the last side to hammer them then?

Ok, maybe slaughtered is a bit much, but the odds are Spurs will not win the game.

The last time they were beaten by more than 2 goals was last pre season by Girona

Tottenham will absolutely shit the bed. 3-0 down inside half an hour.

Liverpool think they belong. Spurs are spurs.

People have been saying that all through this tournament, not saying they're going to win but they're not getting hammered. It has a scrappy 1-0 written all over it, whichever way it goes.

It's either gonna go one of two ways..

Spurs pull off the upset and get a narrow 2-1 win. With a late winner.

Or

Liverpool absolutely smash them to bits. 2-0 up at half time and run out with 4 or 5.

i'm more inclined to think the latter.
