that's so sad, I am sure he will get a good pay out to help with his retirement but I am sure he would rather still be playing though.

£#%&!ing hell, gutted for the lad but glad to know he'll be able to live a somewhat "normal" life, it really could have been much much worse

True.
I had the same injury but, I could go back to my job 7 weeks later. He's a footballer and with that kind of injury, he'd never be able to compete in the air or even head a ball again, so that's it over
