Pity we'll have no cash to buy a forward in the Summer. We sure as £#%&! need one.

Looks like i was first to coin the 'Burbles' moniker. almost 2 years to the day. We should probably organise a three cheers for me, or for he's a jolly good fellow or something. Say 3 o clock this afternoon?

we do call him that don't we???

Certainly has, hadn't seen that much of him at the time. I like to get behind our new signings anyway and as it became likely and i saw more of him I became more positive about him. I've not been disappointed to be honest and he is quicker than I thought.

I can't talk because I said a couple of times before he signed that I thought he'd be too slow, but it's funny to see Throb saying he'd pick Lennon over him

Let's be fair to Bedders. If anything it just shows the utter futility if chatting about football. If this incident wipes this stain off the forum for good then it will go down as a great thread

Yes you did, and that is a bit embarrassing. Not rating Berba at the time is fair enough though.

I always rated him but I didn't think he was the sort of player we wanted/needed. As it stands I think he fits in perfectly.

Ferguson isn't keen on playing to the strengths of a lightening quick 6 yard box merchant. I think he fells it would make us one dimensional...and he could be right

Yup, as is wanting Lennon given how disappointing and injury prone he's been.
