i saw Arnold Muhren in carl r twigg's on bridge street buying some shoes in about 1984 and had a chat with him, he was very nishe

i remember him scoring on his united debut

Neil Webb. It was about 1984 and he was just about to get into a Toyota, as I remember.

Russell Beardsmore for me, was good mates with his brother growing up. Russ was a local Legend especially after the 3-1 against the murderers, good lad too

booby charlton...used to live in lymm about half a mile away. used to come in our shop. i was about six or seven(1968/69)he was the most famous footballer on the planet. i was starstruck

Clayton? If so I met him over here a couple of years ago when he played for United against the mickies
