Following a conversation with a Chelsea fan, I counted off about 25 first teamers (either played or still playing in the Premier League for various teams) who came out of the United academy since 1992. That doesn't include players like Greening who we signed from York.

I think West Ham could have claim for the second most in that period.

Oh, the Chelsea fan got as far as John Terry, then er.. Ben Sahar (actually signed from an Isreali team).. and er... oh, all bought from West Ham.
