John O'Shea
I'm not his biggest fan and I've been critical of him in the past. I still don't think he's a very good player but I have got to say fair play to him for being a part of our defence that hasn't conceded in the league for over 1000 minutes. He still can't pass for shit and he gets beat quite easily on occassions but (takes deep breath) I'm no longer bothered when I see his name in the starting XI
Also, I think he's been quite good going forward So, to summarise. He's not as bad as some people make him out to be. I think that's pretty fair. |

But when considering the defensive record that has just been set - a lot of people deserve a huge amount of credit VDS and an ever changing back 4 in front of him. For all the crap we give him JOS slots in anywhere - how many defenders have we used in that run? |

Complete enigma - still plays like a coltish 17 year old. Never moved on from when he looked like a complete and utter star.
For me he is still way too casual in possession and against Derby he had the first touch of a rapist. Useful utility option in times of crisis and that's it. |
