Like Onana but for all the hand-ringing on Mount’s fee, sending 40 million over for him plus bumper wages if budget is limited is much more foolhardy. Makes sense to look at alternatives if Inter don’t play ball on fee.

Working our way down the list

This'll be like when we needed a centre back, worked our way down the list from Van Dijk and ended up with Lindelof

I think all this talk of alternatives is just to keep the price down.

We seem to be attempting to shift this Billy Big %@#$&!s approach we had under Woodward that inevitably saw us getting fleeced.

Two years ago, we’d have ended up paying £65m for Mount. There was talk about us walking away and moving onto Caceido. Turned out to be a smokescreen and I suspect the same is happening here.

Spot on. That’s exactly it imo.

This fella is quite a downgrade from Onana.

If we're just going for novelty keepers at this stage, why not give maguire a go?

We need a keeper that can use his feet.

Can’t be having this guy. His name reminds me of laurel and hardy too much.

“Just bijlow is the cabin home of that little girl of mine, her name is June …”

Etc.

it's insane how many players were linked with are Dutch or played under ETH. some of it I'm sure is just lazy journalism, but wtf is the point of our scouting department. ETH seems to have zero trust in them.

Almost as if he's Dutch and has won multiple trophies out there and took a team deep in the champions league.

it's a huge worry...

,(Smoke screen this, not buying...he's not great at all...)

no shade at ETH at all, settle down

the scouting department is failing, if we only buy players that ETH is very familiar with

Marlo has got a point though. No good players have ever been signed from the Eredivisie that i can think of.
