when the £#%&! did the FA Cup final get set for the week before the end of the league season?

and what @#%&! has made Cup final day a normal £#%&!ing league fixture date?

this must be the single biggest stupidest thing the powers that be have inflicted on the fixture schedule in the entire history of the sky league

this is worse than southampton away on a monday £#%&!ing night

It's the usual brainless £#%&!ers in the FA innit? Champs League final is at Wembley on the Saturday after the season ends so it was either the 2nd last Saturday or a midweek game. Why the league season is going on until 22nd May I have no idea

A lot to do with Fifa I'd imagine.
They insist on taking control of the stadium a month before the CL final I think.

Yep - been debated to £#%&! already - the "official" reason is because the Champions League Final is on a Saturday and UEFA require the stadium for a full week prior to the final.

Bonkers - but that's the reason. The League 1 and 2 Play offs are back to Cardiff this season for the same reason.
