Evans (wtf was wrong with him?) back in training. That’s something I guess.
Rafael 2 or 3 weeks

Not looking forward to watching him be bullied and dominated by some no mark striker at the weekend?

I think they may make a decent pairing.

Smallers and Evans? In time perhaps. Inexperienced at the moment and Evans hasn’t had one decent game all season. Neither comes across as a ‘dominant’ personality, who’ll take it on themselves to tell the other defenders what to do. Even with Vidic playing, we lack that sort of leadership at the back which Rio provides.

Yeah let's put Carrick back there then. He's mouthy

Fulham away a couple of years back :shakehead:

Incidentally, Carrick was quoted in a few papers this morning saying he doesn’t want to play at CB again.

I'd carry on with Brown & Smallers personally, they played the other night, played against the Dippers, they can only get better. Am sure they are playing together in training - intensively - & Evans is a @#%&! so playing him against Kevin @#%&!ing Davies is a bad look. He can go to right back if needed but I'd play Fabio. Bolton do go long now & then but play a lot more, taking them on with two wingers, two strikers & passing it... surely we'd just outscore them.

Gotta plan without Rio now - hard to see him making much more than occasional appearances from now on.

o'shea has done well for us the last few weeks.

the biggest problem we've got atm is tiredness, which i suspect is a major cause of all the injuries we're getting. losing players who would have been coming in with some freshness is a blow.

sooner we get park and anderson back the better.

Anyone know when this is likely to happen? Park £#%&!ed off to the Asia Cup and hasn’t been seen since. I can’t even remember what injury Anderson has?
