Yea. Bit strange that he’s gone from a muscle strain to out for the season. Incredible shame as, when he was playing this season, he actually looked back to his best. There’s not a centre back in the land that can touch an in form Rio.
It’s like the Ledley King situation at Spurs, which I don’t think is great. Doesn’t matter how good a player is, if they can’t be relied upon to start a decent percentage of our games because of mysterious injuries, I’m not sure they’re worth keeping.
