Grow a pair then

The banner WILL have to come down eventually

Big £#%&!ing wow, they have won 1 trophy in 37/38/39/40 years (depending on when they do)

Talk about a short-term mentality!! So what if they win an odd trophy? They are still city and we are still United, the best club in the country!

Had this convo with a guy at work, it ended up with me losing my rag and pointing out to him that even if they won every league title year on year (which we all know ain't gonna happen) he will be dead before they equal us!

He's 64, retires in June thank £#%&!! He's a horrible @#%&!, bullies people and always knows best! Im sure you have met the sort..

He's a typical bitter and twisted blue, doesn't go yet he knows more than me as I'm a:young and b:a Munich

I thought I'd finished him off when I came out with it tbh, he started gasping for breath!

He fancies himself as an 'old hoolie' but one of the other lads goes my boxing gym and must have said summat to him because he never tries it on with me like he does others

Edit: and I'm in no way advocating crowing about 'what we've won' I stomached it and am relishing #19 whenever it may come all the more because of it

My point is that Bitters will think they have 'got one over' us when they do win summat, they deserve laughing at, not hand-wringing and sleepless £#%&!ing nights!!

Ridicule them because 1 trophy in 40 years is £#%&!, never forget that

i have met the sort. this town is full of the £#%&!ers.
my opinion of city is this, they HAVE to win something and soon. while that pressure is there they will always find a way to £#%&! up. mankini is on a hiding to nothing really and i cant see him staying there much longer if they don't get top 4 or a cup. so then begins the manager merry-go-round, just like the last time they were in the top 5.

city, as a club really have nothing to offer. they don't fill their ground every week now, in their best season in years with their best squad in years. they can develop their stadium either as the fan base isn't there.

this investment wont last forever and if they don't build from the roots up in terms of kids they'll be sat on their arses again within 4 years. plus the fact that they need to attract top players by getting champions league football. its just like city to get in the mix at the exact same time that the league has gotten a hell of a lot tighter.

And what part of Manchester is Atherton in?

FWIW, that's bullshit. I can't imagine a more nerve racking tie.

I've made the same decision Ste if we get them.

BUT, if we don't there's a fair chance Fergie will play the likes of Gibson in the semi against Bolton/West Ham/Stoke and we could get turned over, leaving city a pretty easy run to the cup.

So semis please.
