was lovely to see the lads looking like they are enjoying playing more than anything, i managed to avoid calling any of the players in a red shirt a £#%&!ing usless @#%&!.

For this ETH is god.

Hopefully Martial has found some humility in his circumstances. If he decides that his life could be so much more enjoyable with proper effort he may be able to make something out of this last chance saloon. Now that really would be like a new signing.

He pressed high up too. They all did. The one thing you can take from a preason game is they’re set up and approach.

The goals and wins etc can be disregarded, it’s preseason against weakened teams. Andreas look like a worldy in preason.

But the press and off the ball movement you can look at and be impressed with.

They didn’t £#%&! all in the last 30 and conceded .

Nobody is drawing big conclusions or dancing like we have won the World Cup. But seeing the scouse lose 4-0 at any time is funny
