Hopefully Martial has found some humility in his circumstances. If he decides that his life could be so much more enjoyable with proper effort he may be able to make something out of this last chance saloon. Now that really would be like a new signing.

Just seen his goal. Did he start down the right?

What’s the formation that ETH played?

They should have given him an extra 20 mill for the treble goal alone!

He pressed high up too. They all did. The one thing you can take from a preason game is they’re set up and approach.

The goals and wins etc can be disregarded, it’s preseason against weakened teams. Andreas look like a worldy in preason.

But the press and off the ball movement you can look at and be impressed with.

Nice to see the gimp who wrote the match report on the Sky website giving United credit for a good display.

Liverpool put to the sword after starting with an experimental XI

an emphatic 4-0 pre-season victory over weakened rivals Liverpool

United ran riot against an extremely unfamiliar Liverpool side

Liverpool, who started the match with five teenagers

Ten Hag's tenure may be in its infancy, and this performance was almost certainly aided by Jurgen Klopp's team selection

With a stronger, more familiar, first-choice XI on the field for the finah 30 minutes, Liverpool improved

It was clear Liverpool viewed this game as little more than a fitness exercise to benefit their whole squad.

I understand your frustration lad. But I’d be all in favour for your rants but the guy before left us in far deeper shit and pocketed a lot more. As for ole he’s a nice bloke who loves United and has legendary status. A man showing emotions pal nothing wrong that surely.

As if Klopp set up to let us start well. The man is desperate to get one over united and show superiority at every opportunity. He expected that starting team to embarrass our strongest team, and then rub it in by bringing on the bigger players later.

Pre season or not, no one connected with liverpool expected to lose that game. Never mind lose it 4-0.

Nobody wants to ever point out by the 60th min they had a full strength team out and ETH had sent the kids and reserved out at 45 mins.

They didn’t £#%&! all in the last 30 and conceded .

Nobody is drawing big conclusions or dancing like we have won the World Cup. But seeing the scouse lose 4-0 at any time is funny

if the result were the other way around, nobody would be making any excuses for us. They'd be panning us as usual.

“Alarming lack of depth”

“Next generation not up to standard”

“Academy in need of revolution”

You can predict what these @#%&!s want to write before a balls been kicked.
