I saw something yesterday that said a video on Everton’s socials of the team training showed Evans

That wasn't him. Someone in the background said: "We're getting Johnny Evans in..." hence it going viral.

I wouldn't quite say linde redeemed himself this season, but this is a ridiculous comment. jonny £#%&!ing evans wasn't even as good as linde when he was in his prime. if he can be said to have had a prime.

Jonny Evans only a few games into his career had Drogba thrashing about like he was having a fit. Couple of years later he was getting monstered by the likes of Johan Elmander and Grant Holt. Don't think ethnicity had much to do with his essential @#%&!ness
