Herrera was a loss. I think we'd have more points if he'd stayed.

Not sure how the manager can be blamed for lack of incomings, unless potential signings are saying no because of him. There's no evidence of that.

A loss in the sense that he was a body that could play in midfield, not in any other sense. Fellaini has been a much bigger loss tbh.

Missed 12 games through injury so far this season for PSG. It would have been £300k pw pissed down the drain, nqat.

I don't fancy your chances.

If United seriously had money to spend, given their current predicaments with the squad and the prospects for the rest of the season, they'd have players lined up that they could bring in and would have done so. They must have huge lists of potential signings and targets that they've done homework on and could get if they had to, even if they weren't first choice, then could move on/replace in forthcoming windows.

As it is, they are dithering because they can't/don't want to commit funds and appear to be actively trying to get the wage bill down ahead of reductions in sponsorship and CL income still being absent.

Edit: Tammy Abraham injured last night. Wonder if Chelsea will manage to find a striker before the 31st..

No, all real top sides sort their shit out straight away these days.

Sadly City will never again go into a slump like we are in because they will just buy their way out of trouble and employ the best, not draft in Goater as manager.

Speaking of top sides sorting their shit out, that 'Real Madrid are a shambles' thread lasted a long time i see

United are now arsenal and it will be harder than ever to claw our way back at the rate its going.

Again, we are mediocre and were prior to Ole, at what point do we accept that?

Staggering isn't it. The kool aid has well and truly been drunk.

fair play they've managed to convince everyone that the most profitable football club the world has ever seen should have to write off seasons at a time because rebuilds should take 5 years.

Imagine the manager at real madrid telling everyone that they've made great progress because barcelona beat them 2-0 He'd be hounded of the stadium.

Incredible scenes. Again it's this idea that unless you accept all this then you're somehow not a real supporter. That the only way to build towards success is enduring season after season of shite with no signs of any progress on the pitch. And anyone who says it all isn't completely necessary and part of the process then you're a non-believer who is destined for hell fire.
