Any other player would have been booked then, Kane gets away with it.

What the £#%&!?

They told him to give a red card so he could go and check it so he could give a yellow card, because they can't give a yellow on VAR review? Why do they make it difficult for themselves?

hard to believe smith doesn't think that is red. it's a blatant red. hard to believe the ref no longer thinks it's red. chaos.

He got booked.

The problems there are: firstly, Ziyech was getting booked for the challenge before it all kicked off, which would mean the push would've been a second yellow? He's raised hands to face, we're told that's instant red?

Casemiro's did 10% of that and was sent off by VAR. Where's the £#%&!ing consistency?

Oh he was booking Havertz initially.

the only defence for ziyech is that he meant to push emerson's shoulder, but his hand slipped. however, he still smacked the lad in the face. red all day. stroppy little £#%&!wit.

and, yes, the lack of consistency is.... oh, typical.
