Default Footballing myths.

When a manager goes to watch a certain transfer target, a rumour always has to come out about how he was actually watching some other unknown less talented player.

When a team has two brothers in it. if one is a lot better than the other, its ironic because the team originally wanted to sign the shit one and only signed the good one to keep his brother happy.

Any more?

Denis Law's backheel goal didn't send United down.

If a team has three brothers in it, if one is a lot better than the others, he'll end up with MS.

But those results came after the United/City result and are therefore irrelevant. United lost to City before those games ended and were relegated irrespective of what happened in those later results.

Vidic is terrified of Torres

The afield atmosphere, when do we ever see this aside from when they play a euro knockout or us? Same as OT for consistency.

No pens at old Trafford.

Evra offers a lot going forward.

Pepe Reina

Roberto Di Matteo

Roberto Mancini

Friedel only plays well against United

Away goals count double

Oh and a Rangers fan here on Friday night told me they took 250k to Manchester in 2008.

United always finish the season strongly. 1998, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2010, 2012 just about confirm this to be %@#$&!s. 2007 we clung on aswell
