not really thought too much about it, as someone said it'll be after he gets #18 when he retires, until then he'll keep the red flag flying high

God.

Of course. He's got it all. In fact, better than Ron in many ways. For example, Ron used to sing to the players on nights out but he would never have took it pitchside. Never. Only Browney could pull that off.

Got to make this happen. Got to.

If he does get the job I hope we pay him enough so that he doesn't have to do that telesales job on the touchline as well.

The strange thing about Sexton is that his QPR side played superb football - one of the reasons he was appointed.

Maybe United was just too big for him (as it was for O'Farrell)??

I'm not convinced that there is a bid waiting to happen from quatar and no one else is gonna stump up over a billion for a football club that is already close to it's profitability limit. The Glazers will hang about like a bad smell and asset strip us until the honey pot is empty mate. It will defo get worse before it gets better.

pray tell. Other than breaking away from the collective premier league TV rights deal how do you propose a new buyer would significantly increase revenue into the club??

that's a question about means and you provide one answer yourself. my comment wasn't about means, though. simply the concept of there being an inherent profitability limit in any particular business makes little sense.

i actually agree and have said before that any buyer of united will be a vanity buyer imo. but the idea of a profitability limit is a daft one. imho.
