There is no way Zaha is worth less than 60mil in this market and they're begging to palace they can only afford 40. Different if it was an opening offer.

Palace want 80mil, so it isn't happening, the cockney nonces.

We just paid £50m for their right back.

By that benchmark £80m for their star player seems pretty standard. Which is astonishing really.

Breaking | Arsenal club captain Laurent Koscielny has refused to travel to the United States for the London side's pre-season tour - official statement.

Laurent Koscielny has for several weeks been asking Arsenal for a mutual termination agreement so that he can accept 1 of the 3 firm offers he has from Ligue 1. They've so far refused.
Ouch

Flicking through TV last night and I saw Fergie on who wants to be a millionaire with Eamonn Holmes; within about 10 minutes Holmes and Tarrant were half-ribbing Fergie about Wenger and it made me realise just how far they've fallen as a club. They were THE rivals to us in that time period and now we see them as a joke, even as our own club has fallen into disrepair. Definitely serves as a warning though, as another few years of this and we could be as equally big a joke.
