Pay him ffs. The notion that he’s not on at least double what that @#%&! Sanchez is on already is ridiculous. Pay. Him.

Deffo a reach that bit. Unless he means being stuck with a player past it and on massive wages that he doesn't fancy.

100% down to the signing of the Chilean chancer.

Alexis didn't work out.

Let's not make it a double blow by losing the best keeper in the world.

People saying we've got Romero need to stfu. Yeah he's a solid number 2 but thats it.

Woodward has helped sink the last 3 managers. By giving new long deals to Smalling and Jones while possibly losing De Gea for a cut price fee would go a long way to make Ole's job harder next season. For some reason Woodward has his protectors on here though.

no keeper is worth 300 grand a week, looks like he is playing like a slapped arse the last few weeks, his kicking off the ground is shocking, a few times today he put us in trouble from clearing a back pass, If a club starts paying their keeper 300 grand a week imagine what the rest of the players will want when it come to new contracts, that Sanchez contract and signing looks worse and worse as the weeks go on....If De Gea wants 300 grand a week, then I would hate to see what Pogba will want when it is time for him to renew........

He does make mistakes - especially this season - but the club have to consider who they could get that is better.

His reputation here is high so there shouldn't be too much uproar in the dressing room if he's one of the best paid players. The wages are balanced out by not having to splash out on a replacement.

So we’re Sanchez’

It sets the bar to a ridiculous level and he is not worth pushing that bar that high for. Possibly the best line keeper around but there are definite shortcomings in his game. Probably the agent pushing more than he is, as per.

That's why I qualified it by saying his reputation here is already very high. I don't think anyone would argue if he was among the highest paid two or three players in the squad. Agree with you that he has clear deficiencies in his game that aren't mentioned much, but could we get someone better? Maybe if we were dead set on playing the way City do, but otherwise probably not.

Yeah, who could have forseen that.

If someone can’t see the outcome on the club dynamics of giving a player a huge salary compared to everyone else then they’re in the wrong job. Woodward costs united a £#%&!ing fortune with his ineptitude.
