It's a bit odd imo. He's not leaving until December and the statement doesn't even reference the SL or anything that is happening. At a guess this was planned to happen anyway and they've just released it now to try to take some pressure off.

He moved to London in the summer. He was 100% off at the end of the year regardless. Just putting this out now for lolz probably.

But I’ve got a bad feeling he’ll still have a job at the club in some capacity and all of this is just preparing the club to be able to back down and crawl back to uefa.

After Ceferin’s comments yesterday I don’t think Woodward would be welcome back any time soon so club needs someone new to be our delegate etc?
