Chelsea are by all accounts incredibly good at that level but that's not encouraging.

That Chelsea team will all be loaned out all over Europe in the future. Awful club.

Doesn't matter in the slightest. It's a business model that helps them to get round ffp and spend more money on bigger players

You two are in dreamland if you don't think that buying young players for little cash and selling on for a profit is not part of their (and our) business model.

It's tried and tested they are just doing it to the extreme right now...

You mentioned them winning the league as if their good youth teams of the past few years have anything to do with it? You think selling a few of their youth products for a few hundred thousand here and there has bankrolled them signing Fabregas and Costa etc?

I doubt it covers all the costs but it helps

A lot of clubs do it. It's not great for football but it makes a few quid

What the £#%&! are you jabbering on about?

Sizzers said the talent in their youth sides has never transferred to their first team, and you brought up the fact they've just won the league to disprove his point

Now you're talking about business models and admitting almost none of the youth players get a sniff of the first team? Where are you going with this?

I wasn't saying that it's good for football. I was just saying that buying players young and cheap, en masse, will help Chelsea increase their turnover/revenue which will in turn allow them to buy more expensive players without getting done by ffp.

I'm sure we agree it's really dispicable but it's worked for them in recent history hasn't it?
