Default United Youth Last night - v Chelsea

What a disappointment. They and the coaching staff need a kick up their arses.

passing was poor, that was the biggest disappointment.

decision-making and composure were also suspect.

Chelsea were the better team on the day.

That's what happens when you don't take your chances, you would think this would be well known at OT by now.

Oh, and Oliver Gill was poor, very poor.

They were no better than us whatsoever, so i'm not sure what you're whinging about.

The thing that cost us, is the same thing that costs the first team, shite finishing.

We should have been three nil up and then they scored with their first effort on goal.

I missed the game last night due to working late, but I believe he was superb in the first half especially

he was outstanding in the first half....for 15 years old its unbelievable.

His decision making at times isnt that good (if you catch the highlights see him try and beat the keep 3 times)

But he took his goal well and always pushed forward with the ball at his feet...

Strong and very muture for his age.

He does over do things a bit at times, but he's only 15 when all said and done

I believe Matthew James put in a decent performance..?

Yeah another plus, from a prety shit side....

the defence was shocking at times...Which is strange as we had the best record up till last night....

As someone else said Gill was appalling...

Wellbeck also needs to shoot a bit more, but nothing really to worry about.

Stewart was poor when he came on.

But you have to remember their ages.

Should've scored the second chance, or at least had a shot, when he was dancing with the keeper. Looked very good for 15 though.

How old is Cameron Stewart? 15? 16? he looked good, as did James in the middle.

Is there a new Government test regarding United Youth team's ages?

Can't be, you have to be under 18 to play.

He's only a young 'un, striker by trade too, I think. Got a cracking shot on him.

i liked the look of him, is he Welsh? Looked strong in the tckle and good presence on the ball, head up, aware of what was around him.

Quick as well, got up and down the pitch well, we could do with a midfielder of his ilk in the first team now (not suggesting he is good enough, just his style)
