Crosses better with his weaker foot than Shaw with his strongest

Brilliant tonight.

Shows what a difference an attack-minded full back can make.

Him Greenwood and Tuanzebe to be regulars next season.

Booking was a joke.

Diabolical decision. Can it be rescinded?

Calm down. Could be a terrific full back but he needs to earn it. Let him come on gradually. He needs to take the shirt off Shaw not be handed it.

Class of 2019 with Greenwood and Garner.

He'll have to have it taken in.

I think everyone realises he won't be a regular for a while yet. Be interesting to see if we replace Shaw with someone better, or keep him on until Williams is ready.

A big club would have binned Shaw off already, but that's another story.

If we're going off last summer, there's a chance Ole gets around the lack of investment by selling Shaw and throwing Williams in at the deep end.

If Ole has faith in the kid he should do it now. Liverpool took their licks early on with Arnold at full back and now they’re benefitting hugely from that faith. I’d rather keep on Young for a season or two as a back up who can fill in multiple roles and play 20 times a season than Shaw who’ll expect to be first choice when, in reality, he has no future here. Even at 34? Young is still a better footballer than Shaw.

you won't often see a young full back hung out to dry by his team mates and manager like he was tonight against the current £#%&!ing champions.

Fair play he showed some balls in that 2nd half and i rate that.

I'm not sure how Ole can watch Williams week in week out and still pick Shaw ahead of him
