LvG says that he treats every player the same whether they are a big name or cost a big transfer fee yet in nearly every starting 11 he tries to cram as many big name players in as he can even if it £#%&!s up the balance of the team

Rooney is never in a million years a midfield player and shouldn't be starting in that position ahead of Herrera
Falcao and van Persie are clearly not a front partnership that works yet he keeps playing them together which causes Rooney to play in midfield :shakehead:

That doesn't look a balanced midfield and forward line to me. I think we'll get a win but it will be another unconvincing scrappy performance

herrera aside, I'm not sure what the issue is there.

looks like 442 in a diamond. Rooney at the peak is better than him in midfield. natural pace and width with Di Maria and Januzaj, and blind back in his best position allowing us to play Shaw in his best position too.

If we're positive and aggressive, we'll @#%&!.

that Leicester defeat saw us withdraw. let's hope a Leicester @#%&!ting makes us open out a bit more.

I think we all need to accept he doesn't like herrera. herrera is the new kagawa.

I wonder if Blind will drop back into a three man back line today? Will be interesting to see if The Philosophy is being tweaked. Rooney in midfield again is something I'm still not convinced about, but glad to see Falcao keep his place. Time to step up to the plate, my long haired Columbian tiger x
