Loved him, cracking little player. But always seemed to pick up an injury when he was starting to hit top form

I was sad to see him go.

Good player, but the time he slid off the pitch/went in for a tackle (can't remember) and came out of it with one of his fingers at a right angle to the way it should have been pointing sums him up.

Only one appearance for Lyon this season, it appears - injured again?

Love the little f***er (and his brother). He was one of those players that, despite the injuries etc, should never have been sold when he was.

For their faults, Welbeck, Evans, Fletcher, Rafael and Fabio were winners, had a good mentality and were a decent enough age to carry us through the post-Fergie years. Almost all were KOd by injury. Even so, binning them and the likes of Kagawa completely to be replaced by Falcao, Rojo, Schweinsteiger, Darmian and Shaw was a ridiculous decision (in hindsight) and a big reason why we are where we are... and Im generally pro LVG who was responsible for most of that cull.
