Yep, a proper Carrick type sitting behind those two would allow them to get forward more, would help us move the ball quicker to open up teams that sit deep, and would help us control games from winning positions so much better and not shit ourselves every time we are in front. As great as Saturday was we allowed them back into it and could have ended up a draw on another day. A Carrick type for midfield is our biggest need. Neves from Wolves would be great.

Haven’t seen much of Neves this season (other than against us ), has he been doing well?

There has to be a few of that type out there? Fancy Neves would cost an absolute fortune?
