He's a very good finisher too.

You can't will someone to have a ridiculously committed character though. He doesn't have one. Even if he tried his heart out to bust a gut, his natural propensity to hide in spots will expose itself at some point.

Look at Anelka. Maybe Torres too. Great strikers but just lacking something.

That finish with his left yesterday. Good grief the precision.

If his work rate matched his unbelievable talent he'd be world class no question.

It doesnt though unfortunately.

We need to bring in a better forward next summer
See the way he competed for that aerial ball before his goal?

Neville said he turned into Joe jordan

I don’t think anyone really doubts his technical ability mate. That’s never really been the question.

Didn’t realise his shit attitude was a major highlight of his time at Monaco as well. Listening to something the other day and he was sent on a second half sub and brought off after 20mins cos he was sulking and strolling about.

Proper mard arse

I know. Just saying it was a lovely finish although Keane apparently described it as “hit and hope”

Hates the sloucher does Keano. Martial wouldn’t have lasted five minutes if Keane were still captain.

calvert lewin has half his talent but 100% more effort and guts.

Martial gave everton's dogshit defence an easy ride today. must be great to mark someone who never moves or makes runs.

Really ? What did he do to impact the game ?

Another 90 mins that passed him by. He turns up 1 in 4, if you're lucky.

Seen enough of him now. He’s not good enough and never will be, I’d rather him replace James in the wing tbh and get a proper forward in. Either Haland or Werner

Apparently he’d be ok if he was playing in the treble winning team.
