Busby played Charlton out of position for 4 seasons. Pretty sure Giggs and Sharpe weren’t particularly fond of playing on the right wing. Plenty of our wingers over the past 30 years would have preferred not to have to track back. Beckham preferred central midfield. Solskjaer was a striker asked to play right wing. Also pretty sure Valencia and Young would rather have been playing winger rather than full back this past 6 years or so.
