Never really understood that mindset. Opponents dropping points is vital in title races. If City hadn't gone to shit after Christmas we wouldn't be 12 points ahead now. An Everton win today is worth the same to us as a United win.

This. Everton getting something would be nice, but as long as we keep doing our business it won't matter what they do.
