Who in reality could united go for in the summer? we had the golden oppurtunity last august to sign a player that would imo, tick all the boxes for what we need and we didn't bother.

I can guarantee SAF will not sign a midfielder in the summer. It will be 5 years of the same question, and the same answer.

Fergie's already bought his annual "shit winger", so it'll be interesting to see where he'll £#%&! the millions at his disposal that should be spent on a midfielder

I think I'd struggle to come up with a more powder puff central midfield partnership in United's history. That'd be the final nail in the coffin of Carrick too, consigning him to another 3 years of doing the work of 2 to 3 men
