According to reports Manchester United No2 Mike Phelan is interesting West Bromwich Albion.

The Birmingham Mail says the Baggies want a number of contenders for the vacant managerial position at the Hawthorns.

It is understood that German coach Ralf Rangnick is in the frame along with former Baggies No 2 and current Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton, along with United coach Phelan.
