According to reports Manchester United No2 Mike Phelan is interesting West Bromwich Albion.

The Birmingham Mail says the Baggies want a number of contenders for the vacant managerial position at the Hawthorns.

It is understood that German coach Ralf Rangnick is in the frame along with former Baggies No 2 and current Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton, along with United coach Phelan.

If true, that's one of the three relegation places already filled for next year

BTW, looking like Chris Hughton is actually going to get the Norwich job. Good for them - anything but, however, for an already struggling Birmingham.
