Wasn't he on a 1 yr contract anyway? So there was always a chance he would leave there at the end of the season?

Joint press conference with Sandro Rosell tomorrow. In fairness the pressure must be £#%&!ing ridiculous at Barca. Expected to win literally everything every season, the bloke is probably £#%&!ed.

It has been talked about for at least 18 months. Would not be surprised if he goes back to Barca after a couple of years off, but he is unlikely ever to have a trio as dominant as Xavi, Iniesta and Messi again.

In 4 years:

Barcelona

La Liga (3): 2008–09, 2009–10, 2010–11
Copa del Rey (1): 2008–09
Supercopa de España (3): 2009, 2010, 2011
UEFA Champions League (2): 2008–09, 2010–11
UEFA Super Cup (2): 2009, 2011
FIFA Club World Cup (2): 2009, 2011

Might as well have a holiday.

I'd take him if Fergie jacks it in next summer & he's refreshed. Bring Messi with him. Or at least Iniesta. Or Xavi. Or any of the other @#%&!s there that tore us apart.

Is this never speaking about it again?

Bielsa will probably get the Barca job, take Javi Martinez with him to play in defence.

So many "top" managers turn out to be just quitters after all. With one particularly notable exception

Never been convinced by him.

Inherited an incredible bunch of players at Barca, and simply continued the progression started by Rijkaard, whilst failing to address their defensive frailties.

Gave Eto'o and £50m odd for Ibra£#%&!inghimovic.

He owes much of his success to United's complete tactical naivety in the 09 and 11 finals.

If he thinks he has it tough at Barca...

Just like us then, in that respect at least. Which, again, shows just how amazing SAF's achievement is
