Id hope some of these guys get playing time in the league cup.

Please stop saying "if we lose against Ajax" The more times I read that the more realistic it seems

You're right but he may get rid of the squad fillers like Fellaini, Darmian, Young, Smalling and Blind so the academy lads get their minutes. I would be up for that because we know this squad needs rebuilding but that doesn't always mean buying superstars.

It won't happen though. If he gets rid of the aforementioned squad filler, he'll replace them with outside buys.

He may have made a dog's dinner of his first season in charge, but I wouldn't blame him if he did spend a lot.
