Breaking on sky sports. We’ve made a 70m bid for Maguire

if they did, they'd report accurately whats been bid and who has been offered as part of the deal

Please be Phill Jones??

I’d be happy with Maguire tbh, him and Lindelof would be a good partnership and he’d give us a bit of leadership too imo.

James
AWB
Maguire
Fernandes
Longstaff
Ben Yeddder

Would look like a good transfer window on paper.

Agreed. Be quite pleased with that considering.

I wouldn't go as far a shite, but I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Decent tournament for an over-hyped England Euros two years ago seems to have propelled him to this top level status

People saying him and Van Dyke are the two best defenders in the league, like he's a patch on Van Dyke.

Strikes me as nothing more than a solid English defender.

No better than Chris Smalling and achieved far less.

Nah he's not shite, just not a £70m defender.

But he's better than anyone we have except for Lindelof.

So, er, yay?

Exactly.....

Has an overhyped tournament where they lost to Belgium twice and now he's the best defender in the league ?

He's an absolute donkey FFS...

Don't want him. Consider him a slight upgrade on Jones.

I'd rather Alderweireld in for a couple of seasons. Apparently he's been offered to Roma for €25m, just under a third less than the reported bid for Maguire.

Not really......

Libdelof is twice the player and smalling is a better defender.....this blockheaded @#%&! can carry the ball a bit better but that's it, would rather see if Bailly can cut a season or promote youth...this isn't the centre back we should be dropping £70m+ on...

Lost three games to all good sides they played and the best side they beat in normal time was £#%&!ing Sweden.

But yeah, a threat from corners.

£#%&! him. Tractor-munching cereal-box-headed biff.

Reckon will end up getting him for £75m. World record fee for a defender.
