Default Wayne Rooney

There's certainly no player i'd rather have on the planet, but to be honest, there's barely anyone better. Works his £#%&!ing %@#$&!s off, his link up has improved immensely (he loves playing with Scholes) and he is a constant threat.

He'll get over 25 goals this season and as long as a few other chip in, we'll edge it from Chelsea, 10-12 clear of all the others.

There was a spell first half where it just clicked for a time. All of the front six were excellent and the smiles between all of them was really nice to see.

If we hadn't have gone down to ten we'd have smashed them.

Can't imagine him playing for anyone else. Except Everton, of course.

Rooney is just world class. If there was a straight swap transfer available for any player in the world, i wouldnt take it. Not even Messi. I dont think im being giddy, i genuinely believe he is the best all round footballer in the world. Messi is class, but he doesnt have the workrate Rooney does. Kaka is class, but he doesnt have the finishing ability or strength Rooney does.

Rooney is not better than Messi, but I still wouldn't swap him.

Messi's better going forward, but im saying his workrate and commitment to the team in every department beats Messi. Messi is more technically gifted and is a footballing genius, but id still rather have Rooney in my side.
