Rooney's brother in law was arrested with Gerrard

THE brother of Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen was arrested yesterday over the bar bust-up which led to England star Steven Gerrard being charged.
Anthony McLoughlin, 19, was bailed by police on suspicion of assault and affray.

DJ Marcus McGee, 34, lost a tooth and needed stitches following the incident at the Lounge Inn, in Southport, Merseyside on December 29.

It is believed that Scouser McLoughlin had been with Liverpool skipper Gerrard celebrating a 5-1 win over Newcastle earlier that day.

McLoughlin’s dad Tony said last night: “He has not done anything.”

A spokesman for Manchester United star Rooney and Coleen declined to comment.

Gerrard, 28, and two other men are due to appear before JPs on January 23.
