Football is a strange sport
Absolutely abysmal for the first half and then suddenly out of nowhere we burst into life and smash them for 4

Amazing 2nd half from Greenwood
Because he’s physically callow we’re only seeing flashes of his talent but what flashes
Pereira played well 2nd half as did Williams

My god Matic is finished
He can’t pass when even remotely pressurised

Simple lesson from tonight - Greenwood in, Chong out.
Take that contract off the table and let him go.

Greenwood is an incredible talent. So is Williams.

Great second half. United have some seriously good young players coming through. Great to see. Feels like we have one foot back in to being the proper United again thx to big Ole

Garner showed why he’s not ready and also why he’s going to be good.

Ole post match interview talked about sideways and backwards passing - can’t see Matic here after Jan

Feel something of the same about Tuanzabe, although with a little less of the showing why he’s going to be good. Still waiting to be convinced tbh.

Wonder if some games at right back would help him with positioning and reading the lines. Athletic and skilful enough. There was one pass that Garner belted out wide right that was a Scholes special and not many people can do that.

I only managed to watch 15 minutes of the game and saw that

Banged it out to Laird who was overlapping but mis-controlled the ball, great technique on the pass.

One moment summed up Greenwood's game and it was the header to Mata in the first half. So simple yet brilliant. He's going to be one hell of a player.

Ipswich etc etc

His (tuanzers) distribution is where he needs work imo. But he’s young and has time.

Garner I am totally sold on. Love the ugly bastard.
