The only reason that the Qatari bid is favourite is because of our current situation. The general opinion seems to be that we've got too much debt and neglect for Jim's team to catch us up any time soon. We're all fed up of hoping someone else beats City or Liverpool to the title when it should be us doing it.

Was thinking last night on our Qatari owners, wearing their new red and white scarves. sat next to Fergie in the posh seats and high giving each other when we score.

Wasn't nice

Nicer than absent owners quietly helping themselves to a fortune whilst the club goes deeper and deeper into debt and squad and stadium etc deteriorate

We don’t know who the other bidders are but there’s a fair chance that the worst of them will be an improvement on the current owners

Aye, and without knowing the ins and outs of any of the offers, there’s likely a pretty big gap between best and worst outcomes. Just wish it was all done & dusted.

Same, but part of me hopes it just goes on in the background until the end of this season so we can just enjoy seeing what the big man can do between now and May without having to think about any bullshit associated with the owners. Whatever happens after the season happens.

So if Qatar take over tomorrow does that mean anything Erik wins this season is hollow and worthless?

Or if they don’t does it mean the Glazers have been doing a good job all along, they just hadn’t found the right manager……

It just means that Erik has succeeded despite the club being revenue stripped every year and being at a permanent disadvantage to the position it should be in hadn’t it been part of the biggest leveraged buy out of any sports club in history.

This may come as a shock to you but Fergie won the lot under the glazers.

If you’re struggling with simple concepts, which appears to be the case, imagine that any manager under the glazers is a bit like making Usain Bolt run the 100m’s in wellies.
