Nick Powell set for a loan move

Nick Powell is looking set for a January loan move away from Manchester United for some first-team experience.
Peterborough United, Ipswich Town and Leicester City are all interesting in penning a deal until the end of the 2012/2013 season.
Powell signed for the Reds from Crewe Alexandra last summer and has made six first-team appearances, rather than see him feature now and again in a, hopefully, good FA cup run, Sir Alex Ferguson feels it would be better to see him go out on loan such as Angelo Hernriquez has done so at Wigan Athletic.

Fair enough, would have thought a PL side would want him rather than Fergie getting his nepotism in early doors for his lad though :shakehead:

He seems to be quite proud of it. Presume it's not his only motor. Probably keeps it for bantz purposes.

Apparently Martin Ferguson scouted the prospect and suggested the player to Darren Ferguson before brokering the deal with Alex Ferguson.

Said they'd give him til Christmas to settle in a bit and see how he did from the start then send him elsewhere to get games. He needs games to get up to the level we need him at and that can be a bit risky when every game bar a few cup games are must wins. Although he strikes me as someone who wouldn't crumble under the pressure of a few shit games. Be interesting to see how they're gonna play him, if he develops in to a proper midfielder with discipline and tactical nous I'll stick my #@&%! up his Corsa, he's clearly good at the fancy shit, time to hone the simple shit, don't want to end up like Steven My wife's breath smells like #@&%! G.

United don't want him to go out on loan, at least that's what they're telling clubs at the moment anyway.

That's what I thought as well It's Alan Nixon who's saying they have told clubs they don't want to let him out, he's usually a good source for stuff like this.

May be waiting to see how the cup game goes possibly. Could get a few games if we go on a bit of a run.
