The best season ever, paying coppers not pounds
76 was a bitter blow
Losing to Southampton was an all time low
77 we were in dream land after beating the scousers
But in 79 we were last minute losers
83 was great after a replay with Brighton
A bit too early for the juggling Knighton
85 was great I was behind Whitesides curler
We had to wait for 1990 for Lee Martins pearler
91 in Rotterdam sit down next to me
Thank god for sunbed and Les Sealey
But we then lost the league on the last day of the season
That bus to Anfield was sad for a reason
In 94 it was all up hill
Doing the double after beating Chelsea 4 nil
the 50th cup final was a sad affair
Paul Rideout`s header from a rebound off the bar
96 and it was the scousers again
Cantona`s shot, no need for the pens
In 99 we did the Treble
That night in Barcelona was unforgettable
I hated the Millennium in 2004 and 5
Apart from the people it was a £#%&!ing long drive
Mourinho`s Chelsea was another boring affair
I got ejected and watched the game in a bar
2017 after a very long wait
Lingards superb winner sealed Palaces fate
Of course there is Rome and Wembley to add
The the best one of all was Moscow, the one John Terry could have had
I`ve missed out the Watney Milk and League cups
It`s good to win them but there not up to much
So it`s been a long journey and I`ve lost most of the stubs
There`s been lots of grounds and even more clubs
So to answer your question have I ever been to a game
probably few hundred before you ever came!

that's not save from de gea
it was at his wrist
that's not save from the girl
that dunk thinks is shit

shite! shite! shite!

and when he was good
dunk just closed his eyes
and when he was bad
"ffs, de gea!" every time

shite! shite! shite!

you'll never grow up to be a football star
cellulited victim of your frame
you'll just eat your gristle,
cheap kfc and say that cake
was on sale... again

and when he was good
akers just close his eyes
and when he was bad
"ffs, shaw!" every time

shite! shite! shite!

Nod to Terry. Big red

If you find your team just cannot score,
they’re running scared
That’s just Martinez,
If you fail to score and lose today,
You're running scared,
That’s just Martinez,
nothing ever change woah woah,
nothing ever change...

Coz we’re living in a world with, Martinez
There’s nothing you can to get past him
Coz we’re living in a world with, Martinez
There’s nothing you can do to get past him.
